Originating from Japan with over 30 branches in Tokyo Metropolitan Area, Yakichi is popular to working people in one of the busiest cities in the world where customers strive for high quality seafood in a casual restaurant for an affordable price. The single overseas branch opened in 2010 in Hong Kong. As it is in Japan, Tenchi Shunsen (Tennen-natural, Jimono-local ingredients, Shun-seasonal, Shinsen-fresh) is our motto where fresh fish are carefully picked by fishermen and flown daily to Hong Kong.
Besides seafood such as sashimi, sushi, grilled fish, and fish nituke (simmered in sweet soy sauce), Yakichi is popular for serving it’s original “komochi-konbu age” (deep fried Herring Fish Roe) and other Japanese dishes that goes perfectly with selected sake. Private rooms are available to serve business or private parties.
